Purpose of the Role

Responsible for helping co-ordinate various tradeshows, programs, and events that showcase ContractPodAi, as well drive demand generation. This role is a multi-faceted position, that will engage the specialist in some graphic development, social media planning (for the event), event management, administration of all event logistics, and co-ordination of the sales development resources as event activities. Although the role is highly tactical, it will also require the individual to use their creativity to plan out the look, feel, program, and activities involved in the event. All these done with the driving purposes of lead and demand generation and increasing brand awareness.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to plan out the roster of events for the year
  • Maintain a monthly calendar – showing upcoming events, critical dates, and other pertinent highlights
  • Work with sales development representatives (SDR’s) to plan, communicate, and co-ordinate all event related outreach activities. SDR outreach activities include pre-event outreach as well as post-event follow-up with prospects
  • Drive awareness of the event on with organic social campaigns, blog posts where appropriate, video clip creation, paid campaigns (SEM), and physical direct mail (DM) campaigns
  • Responsible for setting expected number of event meetings, and follow up on success metrics of events
  • Run full logistics and co-ordination of all event aspects. This includes shipping of all needed equipment (booth, computers, monitors, give-aways…)
  • Track to an event budget
  • Co-ordinate all aspects of give-aways (chachka) at events
  • Communication of event themes, highlights, general rules, lead capture method, and followup – to sales and marketing teams
  • Track and monitor progress and results of each event
  • Report progress of events to Senior Marketing Manager

  • Analytic background, and willingness to experiment, and track results
  • Knowledge of social, blogging, DM, and other aspects of driving awareness to an event
  • Open and excited about experimenting with on-show podcasting, video creation, social media engagement, …
  • Bachelor's degree in Experiential Marketing, Public Relations, Marketing, Law, Engineering [technical degrees must be augmented with Digital Marketing studies]
  • College level education in Marketing, and Events also accepted
  • 1-3+ years of social, marketing, and events experience
  • Experience working in global teams rolling out international programs.
  • Solid project management and co-ordination skills – a MUST
  • Familiar with: Hootsuite, Marketo (or Tier 1 Marketing Automation tool), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, video processing.

Position requires occasional travel in North America and potentially Europe. At times this may be up to twice per month.
