The Business Pricing and Sales Operations team is seeking a dynamic, innovative and strategic analyst to perform analyses and develop insights to drive pricing and profitability initiatives within the medium and enterprise business segments. As a member of this team, the individual will also play a key role in evolving the operations by supporting the integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) tools and models.

Reporting directly to the Director, Business Pricing and Sales Operations, the ideal candidate is an experienced database analyst, with an aptitude to create business impacts using a data-driven approach. The candidate is proactive and continuously seeks new opportunities to increase margins with a keen focus on performance measurement. They are capable of interpreting results and data to generate insight and formulating concepts and actions to deliver results. They are strategic and analytical with the ability to think outside the box and drive new unique approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
Create automated and ad-hoc reports to analyze pricing and profitability performance
Support pricing analytics and pricing strategy development across core wireless, IoT and Instant Communications
Provide analytics and business case support for OPEX and CAPEX projects
Process improvement – identify opportunities to automate and improve efficiency
Support sales teams with financial/operational data and insights
Work cross-functionally with marketing, insight, product, pricing and other teams as required to support analyses and assess programs that impact the business segments
Data analysis – Analyze data to provide insight for opportunities for campaigns
Data mining– Ability to retrieve data and identify data errors/gaps in the data sources
Effectively communicate and present results to key stakeholders
Collaborate with business, third party and IT staff on complex data delivery solutions

Required Qualifications:
Experience in a database marketing/ analytics/ CRM role
Highly analytical with an understanding of the basic principles of working with large and complex data sets
Background with Data Management, Business Intelligence, Reporting Tools and Design, CRM (Tableau, Microstrategy, Salesforce.com, SAS, SAP would be preferred)
Strong SQL skills (Teradata SQL preferred)
Highly creative with the ability to think outside the box when developing concepts/approach/offers
Solid problem solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions and recommendations
Strong analytical skills in order to be able to interpret data and generate new actionable insights
Undergraduate or masters degree in mathematics, computer science, business, or engineering
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in pricing and/or revenue management
Manipulating large and complex data sets
Experience with statistical software and data-mining tools and methods
At least one general programming language such as Python, Java, or C/C++
Experience with data visualization tools and time series
Experience in machine learning techniques and algorithms an asset, including strong knowledge of mathematical underpinnings behind various methods: regression techniques, neural networks, decision trees, clustering, pattern recognition, dimensional reduction
Highly organized with the proven ability to manage multiple assignments and work in a fast paced environment
Detail oriented and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Experience with Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud and Einstein)
Previous work in the telecom industry

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
