Our Ottawa branch is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to provide customer service and develop new business opportunities while providing exceptional service to existing dealers. The successful candidate will be a consummate and credible sales professional selling Security products and solutions to professional security dealer.
Present Anixter to potential clients through proactive outbound calls
Identify potential dealers and develop and implement a detailed account strategy for each of them
Uncover new opportunities and expand your contacts within existing accounts
Successfully manage the sales process; from lead generation, solution pitch, negotiation, closing the order and providing post sales support
Responsible for new and existing business. You are expected to be autonomous however you will work in close collaboration with your supervisor for complex pitches and strategies
Manage and maintain a pipeline and ensure all sales administration is up to date using our software
Respond to quotations and requests for information in a timely manner
Other duties and tasks, as assigned
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate for this position will possess:
Experience & Education:
Certificate or diploma in a related discipline, such as Industrial Sales or Marketing
2-5 Years of Sales and/or product distribution experience in the Security Industry
Security system design experience would be beneficial
Good knowledge of CCTV, intrusion and access control products (preferred)
Good knowledge of AV (preferred)
MS Office (required)
Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written (required)
