We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated professional to join our Talent CoE in the role of Senior Learning and Development Specialist. Reporting to the Vice President of Talent, the Senior Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for delivering leadership training content to a wide range of participants across all JDI business units.
Qualifications & Skills for the position include:
Undergraduate Degree in business, human resources, adult education or comparable field
Demonstrable experience of training, developing and learning to build leadership skills
5+ years’ experience
Strong communication, both oral and written and effective presentation skills.
Strong business presence, complemented by resourcefulness, sound judgement and customer focus.
Experience in information technology, e-learning and technology-based training tools.
Assess leadership training needs through consultation with corporate and division HR and business leaders.
Provide ownership, delivery and coordination of all aspects of the JDI Leadership Fundamentals Program and the Leadership ‘Quick Hit’ Programs.
Review training content, recommend updates and revise training material as needed
Provide train-the-trainer support for new leadership trainers throughout the organization or externally as required.
Some travel is required in Canada and the United States.
