We are looking for a Manager III, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team!

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance, Raytheon ELCAN has an exceptional opportunity for a Finance Manager III. The Finance Manager will directly supervise the FP&A Manager and Budget & Rates principal analyst, including the oversight and support of the integration of the finance team into Raytheon ELCANs three mission areas. The focus on the integration will enable the finance team to drive successful set up and execution of programs from proposal development to contract execution, and support financial forecasting in terms of the four key metrics (bookings, sales, profit, and cash).

The team consists of up to 5 finance professionals, and the role is responsible for driving top level financial metrics and functional accountability. This includes closely monitoring & measuring performance to forecast, evaluating risks and opportunities in both short and long-term formats, and supporting investment and capital initiatives on both the planning and expenditures. In addition, this role is responsible for rate and budget development, measurement and achievement. The selected individual will work closely with the Raytheon ELCAN Mission Areas, Raytheon UK finance leadership, and all functions across the site. The FP&A division is also responsible for working functionally to establish and measure performance against overhead budgets, manpower and base projections, and rates development, including supporting government rates audits.

The Finance Manager is responsible for leading the development and planning of the monthly forecast, AOP and 5YR plan. They will work with the program finance team and the FP&A team as well as the mission areas in order to provide robust financial plans, complimented by an investment strategy that can be supported through overhead and depreciation.

Education and Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years related finance experience
  • University Degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field
  • Must possess effective influence, relationship building, and leadership skills to interface effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Expert understanding of financial metrics (bookings, sales, profit, cash, working capital, ROI)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with commitment to elevating team members and focused talent development
  • Strong executive presence and effective communication across all levels of the organization

Requirements & Key Competencies we are seeking:

  • Strong understanding of the factory environment
  • Knowledge/experience with international contracting
  • MBA/CPA/Advanced Degree preferred
  • Lead integration of the finance team, supporting the FP&A Manager through the mission area strategy (integrating program finance and mission area specific FP&A responsibilities)
  • Responsible for short and long term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and stakeholders across Raytheon Company
  • Support gate reviews by providing BOE information on repeat production programs: Hours Per Unit, Support to Touch Ratios, ODC costs
  • Support rate and pricing audits with Canada’s Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC)
  • Oversight of rate and budget development, implementation and achievement
  • Proactively lead a team of 5 finance employees with additional leadership engagement with the program finance team
  • Pension administration and oversight working with actuarial and plan advisor
  • Support the enhancement of program performance reporting, consistent with the monitoring of the latest EAC, and identifying program risks and opportunities that would be incorporated into future EAC’s We offer a competitive compensation package inclusive of incentive program and company pension plan.
