Our team is growing and we are actively looking to hire a User Experience (UX) Product Designer to join our team! Reporting to the Manager, Product Delivery, you will be w orking in a user-centered design and agile development environment, the role works across multiple teams to create and redesign digital experiences to improve the user experience and better achieve our business goals. Through iterative design and development, the UX Product Designer works diligently to incorporate user and stakeholder feedback into appealing solutions in a highly collaborative setting.
Develop prototypes, work flows, wireframes, storyboards, and mock-ups to effectively communicate interaction design paradigms
Design and envision experiences iteratively in an agile environment
Contribute to visual design, rapid testing/prototyping, and market launch efforts for new products and features
Maintain a user-centered approach in design perspective and practice
Guide product decisions through user research, customer development and iterative feedback loop
Translate ambiguous directives into creative, polished, compelling design for new applications
Assess potential outcomes for new products and features using structured, hypothesis-driven approach, while maintaining speed and agility
Compile, organize, analyze, and synthesize inputs from varied sources to inform design concepts
Manage design research and analysis, drawing actionable conclusions based on end user interactions
Manage the end-to-end user experience process on engagements
Conduct appropriate user research and analysis methods to answer the research questions at hand
Qualifications and Experience:
College Degree in Graphic design or computer science and three to five years working experience as a UX product designer
Experience in design, product development, and innovation roles
Experience in both wireframe and visual design development
Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer or similar role
Comprehensive portfolio of previous work
Familiarity with UX trends, methodologies and expert skill with UX tools
Experience in developing rapid prototypes
Ability to empathize with end-users and understand how their needs impact product design
Project management skills, including the ability to manage design projects with a high degree of autonomy
Excellent communication skills including storytelling, writing, and presentation
Ability to gather and analyze evidence to support claims as they relate to design concepts and research
Strong willingness to learn
Strong work ethic with an inherent sense of ownership and responsibility
Interested in and conversant about technology
Collaborates effectively across organizations with a warm, engaging style
Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, “start-up-like” environment
Collaborate effectively as a team player, facilitating positive energy/engagement
Pivot as needed to different workstreams; able to add value with limited knowledge on a topic
A solid grasp of human-centered design and testing methodologies
Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
Have an entrepreneurial spirit and aren't afraid to stand up for what they believe is right for the product based on user feedback
Experience working as part of a globally distributed team
