Current Opportunity:
We are seeking a Full-Time Human Resources Administrator to add to our Kelowna team. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources. The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for administering a variety of HR programs and projects, and for providing Human Resources support on a day-to-day basis as assigned by the Director of Human Resources. This role will have a strong focus on talent acquisition and recruitment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide support in recruitment activities including:
Posting of job openings
Tracking and screening applications using an applicant tracking software
Prescreen selected applicants
Booking interviews
Reference checks
Tracking metrics
Providing suggestions on new ways to attract talent
Attending career fairs
Assemble new hire, benefits and pension/RSP enrolment packages
Assist in the preparation of various HR related correspondence, policies and procedures
General administrative support to the Payroll Services/Human Resources/Accounting departments
Other duties as assigned

Skill / Knowledge Requirements:
Completed or enrolled in Bachelor of Business Administration program with a focus in Human Resources
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Dependable, flexible and adaptable
High ethical standards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, analyze, prioritize, identify and action solutions
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Capacity to think creatively and outside of the box
Prior HR administrative support is an asset
