Parker Johnston Industries Ltd, a Victoria family-run company, is seeking experienced Sheet Metal Shop Workers and Apprentice/Labourer to join their team in our high production shop. Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time.
Salary: Starting wage $18.85/ hr (labourers/apprentices) or based on experience or $32.00 - 36.00/hr for ticketed journeyman depending on experience

Experience:
- Previous architectural sheet metal experience will be highly desirable
- Experience with Schecchtl 10' brake & Sheer, Thalmann 21' folder, Alpmac10' Press brake, and Trumpf Trupunch 1000 considered a very strong asset for journeyman workers
- Flashings and cladding experience a must for journeyman workers
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to read blueprints & drawings
- Experience with computer applications considered a strong asset
- Driver’s license an asset.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Must be able to work at heights and sometimes in all weather conditions
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use power tools, hand tools, brakes, and shears to cut, bend, shape, and finish sheet metal roofing, cladding panels, and flashing.
- Other duties as required.
