Position Title: Transition House Worker / Asleep Residential Night Worker - Casual, On-Call
Location: Fort St. John, BC
Qualifications: Diploma in a related human/social service field. One (1) year recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Asleep Residential Night Worker requires Grade 12.
Skills & Knowledge: Ability to provide emotional support, security, advocacy information, education, crisis intervention and referrals to residents and callers. Assist residents with goal setting and problem solving. Monitor and ensure the safety of residents and the security of the facility. Ensure housekeeping services are completed and perform minor maintenance. Maintain case notes, resident records, forms and statistical information. Ability to operate a PC and related software. Evening, night and weekend shifts required. Must have First Aid and Food Safe.
Hourly Rate: 2 rates apply. Asleep Residential Night Worker - $15.56 and Transition House Worker - $18.15.
