We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Central Fill Assistant Pharmacy Manager to join Safeway. The Central Fill Assistant Pharmacy Manager will support the strategic direction and vision of Sobeys National Pharmacy group by providing packaging services to our network of pharmacies with the use of packaging automation.
Support the management of packaging services for our network of pharmacies
Assist in maintain operational oversight of the packaging process and distribution logistics
Conduct quality assurance on packing systems
Engage fellow Pharmacists as customers
Help to facilitate data transfer and trouble shoot medical sourcing
Provide leadership skills, superior judgement, decision making and commitment to pharmacy team
Role model, coach and reinforce customer expectations on a daily basis
Work with Pharmacy Manager to create a coaching and development culture of all pharmacy employees embracing a passion for health and wellness
Help to foster a customer of care trust and respect
Work with Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy talent management including orientation and training and performance management
Ensure the communication of operational requirement/changes and site vision to all employees
Work with Pharmacy Manager to ensure efficient operation of the business to achieve all financial targets and deliver on budgeted Key Performance Indicators
Help to ensure that all policies and regulatory requirements, process and procedures, are implemented and maintained (e.g. OHS, college, legislation, corporate)
Other duties as required
Education, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
Must be a Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility
Motivation to increase levels of responsibility
Experience with MSOffice suite, payroll and invoicing systems is preferred
Above average communication skills (oral and written)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong working knowledge with Kroll software is preferred
