What we are looking for:
QA Engineers are critical to building the next generation of Teladoc products with high quality standards. You will be given responsibility for the end-to-end testing of key technology platforms and will be working with product team, software developers, devops and system engineers to deliver software with maximum uptime. The individual needs to be fluent in French and English to be able to test the Canadian Teladoc applications for both web and mobile. QA Engineers need to collect meticulous quality metrics throughout the software development lifecycle and provide optimizations that allow for step-function improvement of engineering team productivity.

What you will do:
Perform end to end testing on web and mobile platforms in both French and English
Work with cross-functional business teams to understand requirements and other performance SLAs
Pair with development and DevOps teams to enable a continuous integration environment that sustains high productivity levels and emphasizes defect prevention techniques.
Reduce operational costs through service optimizations and demand-based auto-testing.
Automate and optimize processes, using tools like Ruby, Jenkins, Cucumber, JMeter, TestRails and RSPEC.
Develop, execute, debug and maintain automated test scripts and contribute to the regression suite
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production instances.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Thoroughly document operational practices and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
BS or MS in Computer Science preferred, equivalent work experience will be considered
Fluency in English and French-Canadian required
Experience with continuous integration, testing and deployment. Experience with tools like Jenkins, Cucumber, Ruby, Unix, SQL, etc.
Strong knowledge of cross-browser issues and security
Familiarity with software development lifecycle. Experience with version management and ticketing systems such as Git, SVN and Jira.
Must be proficient in working in a MAC OSX desktop environment
Experience with RDBMS (e.g. PostgreSQL and MySQL).
Proficient in high-level scripting languages such as Ruby and Python and script environments like Bash
Familiarity required with skills in RESTful web services, JSON and XML.
Strong background in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Comfortable with SQL.
Able and willing to work in a team environment and adopt a culture of ownership and initiative, and promote such within the team.
Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face)

Preferred:
A desire to automate yourself out of a job. We will always have new challenges and problems to solve.
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance field.
2+ years of experience with MySQL, Ruby, Bash, Cucumber, Jenkins, Unix.
2+ leading efforts that requires close collaboration with project teams.
