Description of Role:
Create revenue, contract and customer growth specifically private clients in ICI sector in construction industry. Primary focus is on maintaining and developing strategic customer relationships, soliciting quotations, development of quotations and proposals and closing new business opportunities. Interacts with project managers, procurement agents, and owner representative of retail business or property managers. Spend the majority of time in close contact with customers and potential accounts.
Handle some General Manager duties seeing through other departments of estimating and projects management to ensure high level, efficient and expected services to be provided to the customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop new business opportunities by proactive engagement, networking and creating long-term relationships with key industry individuals.
Generate new, profitable business from new customers, and expand sales volumes on those accounts.
Assist in defining the strategic direction and growth strategies for the product focus group. Identify and analyze new product areas for their group.
Assist in-house new business support activity including the preparation of proposals and, where applicable, establishment and implementation of approved supporting/complementary study or experimental/demonstration new business efforts.
Assist in the coordination and preparation of cost quotations and support contract negotiations as required.
Prepare and conduct formal presentations to potential customers which covers the areas company focuses on.
Support marketing with the development of new marketing materials as required.
Provides trip reports, telecommunication reports, briefings and recommended action(s) to management and appropriate technical and company personnel.
Assists in preparing annual sales budgets and review with management. Work closely with President on sales targets and initiatives and in the development of growth strategies for the ICI market segment.
Focus on customer development, existing and new. The goal is to establish a partnership with targeted accounts. Develop relationships with the senior level managers.
Travel to customers necessary to support sales initiatives.
Manage customer relationships. Refer customer concerns and requests to higher management, project management. Follow up to make sure customer satisfaction is maintained and that Massive Devcon is maintaining its position as a preferred contractor.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal/customer service skills.
Willingness and ability to travel if required
Must be a Canadian Citizen and be fluent in English
Already existing contacts in the industry for new business opportunities.
