Diploma in Food Service Supervision or Food Nutrition Management;
Member in Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM);
Eligible for membership in the Ontario Society of Nutrition Management (OSNM);
Must have a good understanding of operating procedures of institutional (hospital) food service equipment;
Three years experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in a unionized environment;
Knowledge of food service administration to plan, organize, control and evaluate activities;
Knowledge of revenue generating, profitability and inventory control procedures;
Good marketing skills;
Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational and leadership skills;
Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English speaking clients.
