Our firm is seeking a motivated, service-oriented Litigation Assistant to join our dynamic and committed team.
The ideal candidate must have at least 3 - 5 years of solid litigation experience with a Community College Certificate or Diploma, or equivalent combination of experience, and be familiar with the Rules of Civil Procedure. Excellent administrative, organizational and follow-up skills, attention to detail, proofreading and accuracy, along with being able multi task, prioritize and be able to work in a fast-paced working environment are required for this position.
The role will include a wide variety of duties, including producing various legal documents, drafting correspondence for approval, organizing client files, maintaining the day-to-day file system, assist with general practice management, oversee calendar appointments, billing duties, preparing and maintaining a bring-forward system to diarize court and court filing dates, meetings, and appointments and provide back up coverage to the group during absences or overflow of work.
