Job Description:

This role focuses on the preparation and presentation of both meats and seafood for sale with efficient and precise packaging of items. This is also a very service-orientated position providing courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and legendary service to customers and fellow team members.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Portion and wrap meat and seafood products based on customer orders
  • Prepare different cuts of meat for the display cases
  • Ensure accurate retail pricing and signage.
  • Superior knowledge of primal cuts.
  • Passion for fresh foods.
  • Customer service orientated, and likes to create great experiences.


  • Familiarity with preparing different cuts of different types of meat for retail
  • Math skills
  • Familiar with digi scale operation considered an asset
  • Customer Service experience required
  • Food Safety Mini Course certification is preferred
  • WHIMIS Certification is preferred
  • Meat department experience in a retail setting OR

Charcuterie/Meat Cutting Certification
