However, we continue working and we are always looking for top notch Depot Technicians. This may be a good time to get in touch. Mettler Toledo is looking for a Depot Service Technician to join our family. This position demonstrates skill in configuration and programming of weighing and measurement devices and is able to diagnose and repair most competitive products when necessary. Responsible for all aspects of depot including but not limited to; managing incoming and outgoing repairs, customer interactions, high quality repairs, timely response and turnaround.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Tracks and monitors all Weighing and measurement products received into the depot within CRM
Troubleshoots and repairs all Mettler Toledo products
Performs repairs, calibrations, preventative maintenance and certifications as required
Ensures customer turnaround requirements are met and work is completed on time
Reviews and signs off on all completed assignments and applicable documentation
Collaborates with Mettler Toledo technical employees where required to resolve issues sent into Depot by FSR’s
Complies with Mettler Toledo, ISO & Measurement Canada standards
Assists and cooperates with Service Support Representatives whenever necessary
Responsible for assisting in the resolution of customer complaints and documentation problems
Follows prescribed procedures for expenses including the local purchasing of parts
Maintains productivity levels as determined by Leader and in accordance with established KPI's
Completes all documentation in CRM reporting on-time and as per established procedures
Works to ensure an atmosphere of teamwork, and participates with a positive attitude toward extended team
Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures facilitates Environmental Health & Safety program
Submits all paperwork in a timely and professional manner, maintains a professional relationship with external/internal customers, sales, technicians and other leaders
Occasionally will need to be flexible regarding work hours to help meet unexpected turnaround requirements from time to time
Will be required to become accredited as a Measurement Canada inspector
All other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed
Minimum 2-year college diploma in Electronics or Instrumentation or equivalent education and experience in a technical repair role. Technical troubleshooting or technical installation in industrial electronics or electromechanical technology industry is a plus. Experience with MS Office software including Excel, Word and Outlook is preferred. Experience working with a CRM is a plus. An understanding of ISO9001and 17025 standards is a plus. Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S.Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
