Job Description:
Snowmakers are responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of equipment related to snow production, including high pressure air\water-powered and electrically-powered snowmaking guns. Snowmakers must dismantle and transport equipment on a site-by-site basis in accordance with the demands of an ever-shifting production program. A snowmaker reports directly to his/her Foreman.

Job Responsibilities:
General up-keep and production maintenance of the snowmaking equipment
Set-up and shut-down of snowmaking equipment
Transportation of snowmaking equipment
Ensure a site-specific, quality snow product is being manufactured
Comply with the tasks and projects assigned by their foreman

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Must have high-level of physical fitness
Must have Intermediate-level or advanced-level ski/snowboard ability
Problem-solving ability and remaining calm under pressure an asset
Must enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be flexible in working day or night shifts
Previous snowmaking experience an asset
Strong verbal and written English skills required
Previous snowmobile operation experience an asset
Energetic and self-motivated
Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s license (or international equivalent); previous Winter driving experience; a driver's abstract and a claims experience letter from a previous insurer stating 3 years claims-free history (obtained before commencing)

4 days on/3 days off

Outdoor uniform (jacket and pants) which is provided for a rental fee, you are to provide all other necessary items in accordance with appearance policy.
