Job Overview

The person is responsible for the planning & logistics of Medical Education programs in partnership with the commercial sales teams. This individual must serve as a contributing member of the Marketing team while championing Stryker’s Mission and Values.

Responsibilities

Individual Responsibilities:
Proactively collaborates with internal teams/departments to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation

Functional Responsibilities:
National Product & Procedural Focus Training – Provide all planning and logistical support to the Marketing team including; budget creation, developing publications, registration, agenda, promotional materials, managing onsite product and personnel requirements and logistics
International & Regional/Local Stryker Product & Procedural Focus Training, and Facility Tours (Speaker’s Bureau, Surgical Mentoring & Observation, In-Territory without HCP Consultant) – provide all planning and logistics necessary, including; receipt of the request form, budget creation, booking all travel & lodging, and confirming an agenda to ensure all plans follow Compliance guidelines and meeting costs are coded correctly
Industry Events - All planning and logistics support to Marketing & Sales for National and Regional/Local Tradeshows & Exhibits including booth space design, shipping, and payment arrangements. Working closely with the Associate Program Manager for TPEGs to ensure all Tradeshows that include sponsorship are processed according to the TPEG process
First point of contact for NSM & MYM
Follow and suggest improvements for departmental procedures to deliver on results
Maintain MedEd Budgets for supported franchises
Assist other members of the MedEd team as workload dictates
Available to address issues after hours as required & travel to support programs as required, as well as other duties as assigned by Manager

Excellent technological comprehension: Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and our Registration Systems
Experience in planning and co-coordinating meetings and education events.
Education & Qualifications

University Degree or current enrolment in post-secondary education. (Preferably in Sciences/Kinesiology, HealthCare and/or Business or Marketing) preferred; completed post-secondary education program required
Previous experience in Marketing or Sales an asset
Previous experience in event management/logistics
Medical background or experience an asset
Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience, and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
