Wash, clean and sanitize tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. Keep the dish room, backroom and equipment clean and organized.
-Load, run and unload dish washer.
-Report any mechanical problems immediately
-Responsible to help bus tables for servers during peak hours
-Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
-Wash and store all dishes
-Remove all waste from back room and place bags in the garbage room
-Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage or fee may apply.
- Previous experience is an asset
- Food Handlers Certificate is an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- Must be a team player
-Positive interpersonal skills
Must be able to list up to 35 lbs
Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance is key.
Must be honest and work with a great deal of integrity
Must be able to communicate with managers, staff and customers
