Our Commercial Operations team is a cross-business unit organization responsible for operational activities and execution to enable the success of business unit strategies for both digital and traditional channels. Our Commercial Operations organization consists of teams focused in the following areas: Consumer Insights & Analytics, Digital Consumer Experience, Ecommerce Sales Strategy & Operations, and Revenue & Profit Management. These teams work collaboratively with each business unit to maximize our competitive edge in the marketplace.

Job Summary

The Key Account Manager will support all online activities related to sales and relationship growth with their assigned customers, including strategy development, presentation creation, analysis, forecasting and tactical preparation related to calls and events. They will model the Spectrum values and behaviors to achieve service excellence, meet and exceed organizational objectives and support fiscal responsibility.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with retailer Account Managers on developing eCommerce sales strategies, programs and plans for existing. Includes but not limited to assisting in the development of annual business plans and monitoring goals, conducting monthly reviews and leading action item efforts. Drive it to achieve all ecommerce financial goals for your designated account. Will have P&L responsibility for annual Ecom sales targets and profitability for selected accounts. Must be both analytical and strategic and embrace the challenge of dramatically increasing ecommerce environment. Be directly involved in the day-to-day eCommerce operations, merchandising execution, and maintenance. Work with Digital Marketing team to ensure all SKU’s are uploaded to respective .ca accounts to maximize potential earnings. Enhance user experience on .ca accounts by finessing each product detail page with romantic copy, enriched content, most up-to-date imagery, video, upsell items, etc. Help drive the social web marketing strategy as it relates to customer acquisition. Ensure the entire web process exceeds expectations from how the brand is perceived to product availability, quality and order processing timeliness. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in marketing, finance, product, supply chain, creative, IT, and customer service to ensure the best possible customer experience is achieved. Provide on-going strategic insights based on industry, customer, shopper and marketplace trends to support category strategy. Assist team in handling inquiries, complaints and service programs Acting as liaison with promotions, special programs, new products and other relevant activities to customers Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Profile

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management or related field preferred. Demonstrated online sales experience.

Required Skills

Experience working with one or more of the following online retailers; Amazon.ca (1P or 3P), Must be able to demonstrate successful track record in eCommerce sales growth. Demonstrated strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities to assist in meeting company and team goals Motivated self-starter with high energy level, a passion for eCommerce, and a willingness to do what it takes to achieve goals and objectives. Experience with partner retail sites preferred (examples: Retail Link, Vendor Central, Extranet). Extremely organized and efficient, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects at once, meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of ecommerce sales experience
