Main Responsibilities are:
Select, order and purchase sporting good products at the most favourable price consistent with quality, quantity and specification requirements
Communicate frequently with store management to discuss planning and budgeting.
Negotiate prices, quantities, discounts terms, payment terms and transportation arrangements for merchandise
Analyze market trends and economic conditions to anticipate customer buying patterns
Obtain feedback from sales associates with regards to fast and slow moving goods (stock turns) and customer request
Qualifications:
2 to 4 years’ experience as a buyer
Experience in retail sales environment
Detail oriented
