In this role, you will:
Be a supporting member of the Business Management – Marine Operations department leading the Business/Project Controls, Commercial Controls and Financial Controls for all Marine sector projects and programs. Duties may include the following:

Support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Project Baseline Budgets, Control Account Plans, Responsibility Assignment Matrices and Statements of Work (SOW)

Support Change Management processes and assurance of alignment with business/contractual requirements

Generate and circulate weekly and monthly performance reports, and associated analysis and narrative to inform management of progress, risks, and issues

Assist in the management of sub-projects and key project issues

Provide administrative support to project teams, including:
assisting in the management and reporting of project resources, risk, opportunities, and issues

Scheduling and facilitating stakeholder meetings

Supporting project stakeholder management and communications

Managing and maintaining project documents as required

Producing reports and presentations for board reviews, progress meetings, etc. as required

Carry out document and records management (electronic and hard copy filing, archiving) ensuring compliance with Document Control processes

Collate data, develop reports, and track project performance to facilitate governance of Project performance

Coordinate project collaboration including tracking and following up on timelines and deliverables, progress reports and action items

Perform other duties as reasonably assigned to support business needs

As our ideal candidate,

You have a Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or certificate in Administration, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field
You have three (3) years of relevant work experience
You have advanced skills in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
You have superior verbal and written communication skills

You thrive under pressure and your time management and prioritization skills are excellent

You work with precision and accuracy, demonstrate exceptional attention-to-detail and have excellent organizational and record keeping skills
You have a track record of identifying and implementing administrative solutions to increase efficiencies
You demonstrate good judgment and a high level of confidentiality
Experience working in a project based environment is an asset
Experience working with the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) and/or Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is an asset

You are eligible for Canadian Secret Security and ITAR clearances
