We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled candidate to fill the role of l Junior Accountant Position in our Head office in Calgary. The ideal candidate must be familiar with QuickBooks Software and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Verify that transactions are recorded on the correct day book, and general ledger
  • Performs and maintains all necessary account, bank and credit card reconciliations for all companies on a monthly basis Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Assist with month end closing
  • Review and record employee expense reports
  • Keep track of payments across multiple companies
  • Prepares and file all documents and forms related to regulatory requirements (GST, CRA, & etc.)
  • General administrative duties


  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Have a minimum 2 years of Canadian experiences in full-cycle accounting
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage inter-company loans
  • Must have strong attention to detail and able to provide quality work
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and able to finish tasks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Previous experience with inter-company loans is considered a very strong asset
