A DAY IN YOUR LIFE
With the support of the Cloud Architect, the System Administrators and the DevOps Specialists, he/she will implement solutions using cloud platforms and their IaaS and PaaS components
Create, deploy and fully manage infrastructure as code in OCI
Convert current Infrastructure to Infrastructure as a code (IaC)
Implement non-functional requirements to ensure systems' availability, reliability and optimum performance in a client servicing context of high availability
Create and maintain detailed documentation on Cloud design and library of standardized procedures and configurations
Continuously improve cloud-related tooling, monitoring and diagnostic capabilities in order to give stakeholders visibility on hosted systems
Develop Equisoft's expertise with the cloud platforms in a continuous improvement approach; identify and document standards and best practices
Act as expert for infrastructure teams in the plan, design, and delivery of Cloud solutions
Implement and document industry's best practices regarding security and compliance in a cloud context
Contribute to the systems' runbooks
Optimize cloud-resource usage
Provide technical support regarding cloud platforms usage and operation to implementation and production support teams
Provide thought leadership to fellow team members across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements
Demonstrate forward thinking around where the organization is going and how technology can support these efforts
Bachelor's degree in software engineering or information technology, or a college diploma combined with 5 years of significant experience
Experience automating cloud infrastructure, such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager or other equivalent tools
Knowledge of cloud architectures (networking, IaaS, PaaS, services, VMs)
Proven work experience as a Cloud Developer or similar role in an OCI environment
Strong understanding of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Best Practices Framework
Practical experience building and deploying to cloud solutions (OCI)
Expertise with production deployments and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
Advanced experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, database, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, large-scale software development, security software development
Great understanding of various interactions between hardware, operating systems, network, data center (Network Protocols, as well as VPN Connectivity), and application software
Experience with relational, graph and/or unstructured data technologies such as SQL Server, HD Insights, Hadoop, Cloudera, MongoDB, MySQL, Neo4j, Cassandra, Couchbase
Software development full lifecycle methodologies, patterns, frameworks, libraries and tools
Experience with data ingestion technologies such as Aspera, MoveIT, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Pentaho, Alteryx
Experience building and supporting mission critical technology components with DR capabilities
Experience with multi-tier system and service design and development for large enterprise
Experience with large scale migrations and application landscapes into OCI
Experience in Implement and Configure end to end all aspects of OCI/OCI-Classics as per design
Experience Configuration of Disaster Recovery design within and outside OCI
Demonstrated experience in User Acceptance Tests for all the OCI Components at Infrastructure layer including Compute, Storage, Backup, DR, Network, Security and Load Balancing
Experience in implementations and Monitoring of Security Aspects of OCI (Ingress/Egress Rule, Security List, Implementing IGW, Distributed Route Gateway, Creating IAMPolicies)
Experience with containers such as Kubernetes, Docker, or Cloud Formation
Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment; comfortable with uncertainty
Able to work effectively across teams, with multiple stakeholders
Team spirit, service-oriented attitude, diplomacy and autonomy
At least one certification from OCI cloud certifications
Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written)
Expertise with Cloud Security
Expertise in other Cloud Technologies
Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI, D3, Scrapinghub
Knowledge of French
