The Environmental & Regulatory Advisor, will conduct studies and field programs related to the environmental and regulatory projects undertaken by the company. The advisor will assume the responsibility of the environmental compliance and auditing needs of Amberg clients. They will also contribute to the day-to-day operations of Amberg Corp. and support project work as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

o Managing environmental projects;

o Monitoring environmental/regulatory changes and advise management of changes;

o Preparing technical proposals and participate in business development with existing clients and identified leads;

o Undertaking NPRI, DEOS, and Fugitive Emission programs;

o Development of regulatory applications;

o Managing the implementation, creation, auditing of environmental management programs;

o Participating in policy and procedure development;

o Overseeing client care and market development.

Verification / Auditing Responsibilities

o Leading and participating in CEMS, NOx, compliance audits and GHG verifications;

o Supervising/ Implementing policies and procedures (i.e. checklists, document control, reports, peer review procedure, etc);

o Administering contracts/agreements;

o Ensuring verification activities adequacy;

o Supporting the development of Verification Statements;

o Delegating appropriate authority to individuals/ groups / committees;

o Writing and editing reports for our clients;

o Ensure client meetings occur as required and meeting minutes taken;

Skills and abilities include but are not limited to:

o Air dispersion modeling capability would be a definite asset

o Managing multiple projects, maintaining flexibility, travel and working independently with minimal supervision

o Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

o Ability to follow timelines/milestones

o Experience in writing technical reports, with excellent analytical skills.

o Solid working knowledge of the political and regulatory environment in oil and gas industry

Qualifications:

o P. Eng in good standing, member of APEGA

o 5+ years experience as an auditor with risk based audit protocols

o GHG verification certification ISO 14064 Part 1,-2,-3

o Certified in ISO 14001:2015 is an asset

o Understanding and expertise of auditing programs (AEP – CCIR, BCOGC GHG) .
