Express is recruiting an Underwriter Assistanton an evaluation hire basis for our client in London, ON! The pay range for this position is between $17.00-$18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities of the job:

  • Service on-going client needs, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
  • Prepare documentation for clients or brokers, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals
  • Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
  • Provide assistance to underwriters

Job Requirements:

  • Completion post secondary education
  • Insurance industry experience preferred
  • RIBO licence preferred, but not required
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency with the ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and Adobe
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail, proofreading, and problem-solving skills.
