Our Category Managers are intimately involved in the development and execution of long-term category strategies across our portfolio, evaluating the category as a whole, filling the innovation and renovation pipeline, and delivering both topline and bottom line growth ambitions with the conviction of a business builder and the finesse and creativity of a marketer.

Leadership: be the “go-to” expert on the category, developing strong partnerships across internal cross-functional stakeholders to influence the strategic direction of the Category.
Portfolio Management: manage our product portfolios across North America in both Food Service and Retail, identifying areas for growth and productivity.
Drive brand strategies, performance & equity : partner with Brand Manager to develop growth driving strategies & execute ideas across all media mix (TV, Social, Digital, OOH, In-store). This role manages 7 well-known Masterbrands: Wonder, D’Italiano, County Harvest, Gadoua, Casa Mendosa, Rubschlager, Dave’s Killer Bread.
Innovation Pipeline : develop a robust 3 year innovation pipeline for your category, leveraging consumer insights, category & competitive trends and identifying white space opportunities to win both in Retail and Foodservice.
Capacity & Capital Planning: work closely with the Category Director and Operations partners to manage capacity of our assets and influence long term capital projects in order to reach our growth ambition.
P&L Management: responsible for delivering all aspects of the P&L, from generating topline growth, to working cross functionally to define and execute margin enhancement opportunities within our product portfolio, bakeries, and supply chain to drive long term profitability.
Project management: lead the cross functional commercialization of product launches and renovations from concept ideation & product development to in market execution.
5+ years Category/Marketing Management experience in CPG
Previous experience in brand management is preferred
Demonstrated drive for results and superior execution
Thought leadership and desire to shape a growing category
Strong analytical, presentation and project management skills
Strong Financial acumen, proven ability to understand P&Ls and drive profitability
Strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with other departments as well as work independently
Ability to influence without authority
Resiliency to deal with ambiguity and lead through change
