We are looking for a R esidential
Property Management Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team
at our Head Office.

Job Duties:
Record day to day financial transactions and
completing the posting process
Verify that the transactions are recorded in
the correct posting period, general ledger, customer ledger and vendor ledger
Perform partial checks of the posting
process
Informing Resident Managers of any NSF and
updates the system
Complete government-issued forms such as HST
remittance, property tax rebates, WSIB, EHT, and MPAC forms in an accurate and
timely manner
Enter data, maintain records, create reports
and financial statements
Reconcile and balance all accounts from the
general ledger to the sub ledger
Process accounts receivable/payable
Prepare cheques, payments and bank deposits
Perform bank reconciliations on a monthly
basis
Assist with budget and forecast preparation
Track mortgage status, payments and related
documents
Perform payroll functions for personnel
Respond to accountant and owner inquires in
a timely fashion
Post year-end entries from accountants
Perform and post common area reconciliations
at year-end

Successful Candidates Possess:
College diploma in accounting or business
administration, or equivalent business experience
Experience with Yardi 7s system is a plus
Ability to present information to managers
and employees by being able to define problems distinctly, collect data
accurately, establish reliable facts, and draw valid conclusions
Professional communication, both verbally
and in writing
Ability to manage a fast-paced, high
workload environment with time management, patience, and mindfulness of our
customer’s needs
Highly
organized and detail-oriented
Strong problem-solving skills & a strong
sense of personal responsibility and reliability, with the desire to work as an
integral member of a team
Ability to problem solve and create new
solutions for a growing organization
