Ensuring safety is a priority, reporting to Service Supervisor, the Fleet Associate is to provide customer support to the divisions of the Bolton office to ensure a high operational standard in quality fleet.

  • Maintain, organize a clean shop/year. Ensuring safety standards are upheld
  • Receive vehicles and ensure up to company standard
  • Comply with OH&S safety standards
  • Maintain proper inventory levels of all equipment/tools/parts needed for service tasks
  • Swaps out vehicles for Bolton location
  • Sign out vehicles and maintain files for Track Protection team
  • Outfit vehicles/trucks (i.e. radios, decals, GPS, etc.)
  • Looks after Bolton fleet (oversees oil changes, basic maintenance, etc.)
  • Winter months; provides snow cleaning/salts walkway and shovels doorways
  • 75% street time and 25% shop/yard time
  • Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate for this role will demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
  • Effective and proven organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a high pressure and demanding work environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Attention to detail/cleanliness
  • Demonstrate the ability to think critically, act logically to evaluate situations, solve problems, and make decisions

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A Valid Drivers License
  • Forklift Operator Certification, preferred
