You'll be responsible for the Interac Advanced Analytics end-to-end. Beginning with the development of a Data Strategy, you'll also be tasked with making implementation data strategy recommendations all the way to developing sustainable solutions for data-driven decision making across the organization.
You'll lead a team focused on delivering existing advanced analytical practices and the development of new advanced analytics capabilities across all departments to help identify strategic and tactical business opportunities, develop solutions based on data insights, and resolve operational issues. You'll work closely with the business to understand the data needs of different lines of business and craft solutions to support information–based decisions.
Working with the team, you'll work to create prototypes of new reporting, business solutions and process improvements and will build and enhance descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive models to help drive product growth, reduce waste, improve customer experiences and do market opportunities assessment.
Together with the Chief Data Officer, you will co-lead the development and implementation of Interac Data Strategy, ensuring compliance with Interac MSA and USA requirements for data governance and use.

Who are you?
You have a degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
You have minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
You have hands-on experience at a senior level in developing and maintaining effective data analytics practices.
You have experience in establishing and implementing Data Governance practices.
You have knowledge of Interac products; Data Mining, Databases, analytical tools (for example: SAS/SPSS). BI, Excel, SQL, Machine learning.
You have strong people management skills and experience (mentoring, motivating, coaching, etc.)
You can set and drive the "big picture" strategy while also having the capability to provide detailed technical and process guidance to the team.
You can create a strong culture of collaboration and partnership with cross-functional peers.
You have strong analytical acumen, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
