THE POSITION
The QA and system audit specialist will be responsible for testing new features and products as well as conducting audits both internally for our trading platform and on behalf of clients and their competitions. The QA and system audit specialist may also be called up to assist with client tech support requests during our busiest periods. This is a new role and is likely to expand over time so flexibility is important. We are looking for a technically-minded person with a keen eye for detail and a good mind for numbers. As we deal with stock market simulations, an interest in the stock-market and financial literacy is absolutely an asset but is not required.

TASKS

  • Test new products and features and work with our developers to ensure these are ready for our clients
  • Work with our business development team on creating and deploying enhancements and new features to our sites
  • Stay on top of price data feeds and investigate and address any possible problems
  • Periodically audit client trading competitions to ensure that portfolio performances are fair and accurate
  • Assist with ticket overflow when the support team is working at full capacity
  • Work with product managers to develop internal resource documentation and user guides

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Excellent communication skills in English (both oral and written)
  • High degree of expertise with Excel
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Analytical skills and an eye for detail

Assets:

  • Customer service experience
  • Passion for financial education
  • Experience with HTML/CSS
  • Experience with SQL

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $34,000.00 to $38,000.00 /year
