The Role:
You will lead the business improvement function in Power Delivery (PD) to establish

a business improvement framework and long-term strategy. You will leverage the framework and execute the strategy to drive operational excellence throughout the organization.

Develop, implement, and oversee the Business Improvement framework and associated long-term strategy.
Lead a group of specialists and analysts in the execution of improvement engagements and take ownership of performance improvement outcomes.
Plan and manage the design and integration of new business processes or enhancements.
Identify operational excellence continuous improvement opportunities, research and investigate industry trends, and identify and analyze business risks and opportunities.
Present findings and recommendations to sponsors, key stakeholders and executives.
Ensure change management strategies are effectively employed in all engagements.
Lead the documentation and monitoring of business processes, business rules, metrics and standard operating procedures as a result of improvement initiatives.
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of Power Delivery business programs, process maps, standards, procedures, guidelines, and other business documentation.
Represent Power Delivery in end to end ENMAX improvement projects to ensure PD business interests are represented and incorporated.

10+ years of related experience focused on leading Business Improvement activities
Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics or other relevant area.
Certification in process improvement (BPM, Six Sigma, Lean etc.) considered a strong asset.
Knowledge of the regulated electricity environment in Alberta is considered an asset.
High Level of Business Acumen, including presentation development and delivery.
Strong leadership skills, including a proven history of talent development, mentoring, coaching and facilitation
Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal).
