Highland Cellular is a Telus Authorized Dealer with 9 locations in Atlantic Canada. We help Consumers and small to medium size businesses harness new, exciting technologies into their current operations.

The Business Development Representative works in a Brand Ambassador type role In the Saint John Market we want to identify opportunities for new business for our existing Telus Employee Purchase Program (EPP). Additionally, the BDR will receive leads from our digital marketing team and will be responsible for prospecting new opportunities.

In each instance, you will be hitting going out into the city to build awareness Of our AMAZING EPP offers!! We want to prospect into groups that are eligible for these very aggressive offers. With our EPP program we save our clients significant savings when compared to regular consumer offers. Our biggest challenge is making employees aware that they qualify. we do this by going to eligable businesses and build relationship to get our message out to the employees.

Compensation is $12.50-17.50/hourly plus a very lucrative commission structure.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and develop plans to address them
  • Identify key staff in client companies to cultivate profitable relationships
  • Promote Referral programs to existing EPP clients.
  • Promote high-quality sales, supply and customer service representative processes
  • Aim to preserve customers and renew contracts
  • Approach potential customers to establish relationships
  • Gain solid knowledge of competitors

Requirements

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) practices
  • Experience in sales or customer service is preferred
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Aptitude for fostering positive relationships

BDRs will maintain relationships with our company’s clients — like an account manager — to boost our brand and profits in the long-run.
