We are looking for an experienced I.T. systems administrator that will join the global infrastructure team with the objective to support our transformation strategy. The systems specialist will be a contributor in several project teams and provide in-depth technology expertise.
This role will focus on implementing, maintaining and supporting systems infrastructure technologies to meet business requirements.
Manage the systems environment as part of a team of technology specialists
Design and implementation of new system solutions
Continuous improvement of the existing environment
Tier 3 support - troubleshoot and resolve system related issues
On-call support required for tier 3 critical issues
Configuration documentation management of new and existing systems
5+ years of Windows server experience at a senior level
Relevant professional certifications/designations preferred
Expertise with Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop at a senior level
Practical experience with VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V technologies
Knowledge of NetApp AFF/FAS storage arrays and storage area networks
Practical experience with Cisco UCS and HP ProLiant servers
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS and Office 365
Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Skype for Business
Infrastructure design, planning and documentation skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Must be able to prioritize and work on infrastructure support and project implementations
Ability to share knowledge with other team members and mentor tier 2 and help desk support teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
