The ability to manage the relationships of both the guests and team of the Gold Pan Saloon is the key to this position’s success. We are seeking someone with personality, wits, and quick thinking. This position will require the knowledge of both culinary and beverage trends and techniques. Your love of food will ensure that the quality that comes out of the kitchen will exceed our patron’s expectations and you will understand the story behind the ingredients on the plate, especially the locally sourced ingredients. Your skill with slinging drinks is second to none and your mixology expertise will provide plenty of opportunity for promotions.

Primary responsibilities

o Supervise evening bar operations adhering to service standards

o Coordinating daily for Front and Back of the house staff

o Ensure additional cleaning and sanitization in accordance to the current Health and Safety standards

o Create weekly evening staff schedule and manage any changes, time off requests and staffing up

o Handling of guest complaints in a timely and effective manner

o Checking in for guest satisfaction and proper handling of feedback and follow up

o Ensure evening staff’s cash outs are correct and balance as well as handling cash drops to accounting

o Ensure closing duties are done correctly according to service standards

o Conduct daily shift briefings to update and communicate relevant information such as daily specials, inventory, and promotions to the on shift team.

o Help minimize neglect, breakage and mishandling of supplies

o Responsible for implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and training new and current employees on these standards

o Perform employee discipline and action items based on current dress codes, service standards, and team expectations.

Qualifications

o Highschool diploma required

Experience

o Minimum 2-3 years bar management experience

o Experience managing a bar within a hotel will be highly considered

Salary: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
To keep our employees safe we provide masks and have barriers between the bar and guests. We have also seperated the spacing of the seats ensuring at least 6 feet apart and have overflow into a second altered banquet room as well as a recently built patio
