We are a boutique hotel management company seeking an EXPERIENCED "hands on" , FRONT LINE, Hotel General Manager who understands the importance of team work and has an eye for detail in all areas of a limited service Hotel. You like frequent guest contact, and want to be very "hands-on" , basing yourself behind the front desk or in the lobby most times. As a General Manager, you must be a self-motivated and dedicated leader who can manage your team, WHILE WORKING ALONG SIDE THEM, with integrity, honesty and knowledge, while promoting the culture and values of our Company. You are fluent with hotel operating cost ratios and hotel financial statements. You should be the "jack-of-all-trades" hotel management professional who can manage the details of front office, housekeeping and maintenance. In addition, it is important that you display excellent communication skills, as well as a dedication to providing exceptional customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Setting and achieving sales and profit targets;
  • Driving revenue; yield management
  • Recruiting, training and monitoring staff; build a hospitality culture
  • Planning work schedules for individuals and teams;
  • Meeting and greeting customers;
  • working on the front desk, as required
  • Dealing with customer complaints and comments;
  • Addressing problems and troubleshooting;
  • Training in all departments
  • Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings;
  • Ensuring security is effective;
  • Carrying out inspections of property and services;
  • manage cyber reputation
  • Controlling costs and managing for Profit
