Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative or Business Development Representative or similar role
Hands-on experience in an inside sales/demand generation role with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed quotas
Track record of achieving KPIs (Sales Qualified Appointments, Number of Emails, Number of Calls, etc.)
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication skills
Ability to deliver engaging presentations
Interest and/or experience in the software industry, B2B sales and/or B2B marketing
Proficiency in use of CRM systems
Proficiency in use of G Suite of tools
North American University Degree (an undergraduate degree in sales, marketing, advertising or business preferred but not required)

Responsibilities:
Search for new leads through research of prospective companies
Fully qualify as sales opportunities
Present company to potential clients
Identify opportunities and book appointments for Account Executives
Stay up-to-date with new products/services
Manage top of funnel sales activities in Salesforce
Report on weekly activities, and present KPI status

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from either marketing campaigns or cold calling and meeting sales quotas. We will also consider recent graduates with 1+ years of retail experience who have a strong desire to begin a career in B2B technology sales. You will use your excellent communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospects and customers, from first contact until you create an opportunity for an Account Executive to take forward. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth. After 1 to 2 years, upon consistent achievement of assigned targets, this position offers excellent growth opportunities and a motivating internal career path onto our Sales team.
