Based in the Ottawa or Gatineau region, you are a passionate, talented and experienced marketing specialist who understands and embraces the concept of “Smarketing” versus traditional siloed marketing and sales departments. You understand that a lead is just a name and contact details until they show interest in our offerings and you will not let up until leads become solid interest. You have a “hunter” mentality and love to seek out new leads and to convert these to opportunities (i.e. a New Opening Meeting Booked) for the sales team to take forward.
You have experience in SEO, Campaigns, CRM, LinkedIn selling and other aspects of digital engagement of prospects.
You excel in written and spoken English and you really enjoy communicating in all forms with prospects. You have strong technical skills and experience in all aspects of digital lead generation.
You understand how challenging the current situation is and that you will have to work on limited budgets and even with those restrictions find the 10% or 1% of prospects that are still available to engage our services. You are happy to embrace such limitations as a challenge to your creativity, hard work and perseverance.
Key Metric/Performance Indicator
The key measure of success in this role is New Opening Meetings Booked (NOMB).
You will coordinate with the Execs and our India technology office to work to maximize the efficacy of SEO within limited budgets.
In conjunction with the Chief Commercial Officer, plan and implement sequenced campaigns around webinars (see below), product upgrades, client wins, content offerings, whitepapers conferences/events, news releases, etc.
- Coordinate with the Chief Commercial Officer around daily outreach to his LinkedIn network 7000+.
- Management of marketing activities within CRM.
- Supervise marketing assistant in oversight of outsourced lead gen program.
§ Assistant replies to positive interest in demo and schedule meetings.
§ Assistant uploads to CRM with relevant notes/actions/tasks for follow up.
§ Assistant reports KPIs weekly.
o Create content for email campaigns, social media, etc. to promote registrations.
o Work with Chief Commercial Officer to create presentation specific to each event’s theme/topic.
o Set up the live webinar on the GoTo Webinar platform ensuring that polls, reminders and follow up emails are all set to launch on time.
o Moderate the webinar including launching polls, navigating the FigBytes software platform in tandem with the presentation deck.
o Detailed follow up of attendees to solicit interest in scheduling a demo.
- Update rankings lists for email population (eg: Newsweek top 100 Green Companies, Corporate Knights etc.)
- Run daily lead generation app and filter list accordingly to prep for email search.
- LinkedIn Connections utilizing targeted searches in Sales Navigator, Groups.
- Respond to ad hoc requests for targeted lists from Chief Commercial Officer.
- Daily scan of articles (mainly LinkedIn) for relevant targeted approaches.
Incentive, performance based compensation above base salary to be discussed.
