Primary areas of responsibility include (but not limited to):

  • Daily updating of parts records for receipts and shipments
  • Updating price adjustments
  • Parts ordering with suppliers
  • Back order follow ups
  • Writing parts requisitions for EVERY order being shipped out
  • Looking after shipping, receiving, and fork-lifting of heavy parts orders that require manual handling
  • Looking after customer walk-ins
  • Answering incoming calls for both wholesale and retail orders
  • Picking and recording of parts for shop employees
  • Stocking of shelves
  • Supervising of parts shelving and general maintenance of department
  • Maintaining capacity of lifting 75 lb shipments
  • Tracking inventory
  • Complying with relevant local Health and Safety legislation
  • Supporting Company Health and Safety Policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and mandatory skills include:

  • Secondary school diploma desired
  • Previous supervisory experience an asset.
  • Knowledge of the tractor, turf and short-line agricultural equipment industries/processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multi-task
  • Demonstrate flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environment
  • Ability to take initiative and recognize needs
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential material
  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Access
