In order to continue to build on greatness, they are seeking a passionate Recruitment and Training Specialist to help attract, hire and retain top talent to enhance their competitive advantage.
This role will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of recruitment for all positions using best practice methodology to find top talent that aligns with the culture. Attending job fairs, sourcing candidates through a variety of mediums and building an Employer Value Proposition that positions the client as a reputable brand will be one of the key areas of focus.
Once the talent is hired, creating learning and development platforms is the other area of focus to ensure people are given the tools to succeed. Building out job shadowing and mentorship programs, online learning courses and implementing a Leadership Development program will all be areas that this role will lead and drive utilizing their previous expertise as a Training guru. Succession planning is an area of expertise, as this role will be building out future leaders and back filling key roles as part of the strategic plan.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree with CHRL designation is a strong asset
A minimum of 5 years of related experience designing and managing talent development programs for small to medium sized businesses
5 years of demonstrated experience managing the full recruitment cycle and successfully hiring for all levels of talent
Ability to influence business owners and executives through education utilizing strong business acumen
High sense of urgency and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
Highly passionate about creating a strong culture that builds talent from within
Ability to be fluid as a strategic thinker as well as perform at a tactical level when needed
Ability to think ahead and anticipate future needs and/or potential challenges that may arise
Demonstrates a positive attitude and an adaptable and collaborative style
Highly proficient computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
