Reporting to the Speech Language Pathologist II of Therapeutic Intervention and Rehab Services, the primary purpose of this position is to provide Speech Language services to clients of Upper Lake Melville, and the North Coast of Labrador.

Qualifications:
" Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a recognized University;
" Proof of registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals;
" Strong interpersonal and organization skills and current knowledge of professional practice issues and standards are essential;
" This position is required to have own personal vehicle for work purpose therefore is required to have a valid drivers license;
" The successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory Certificate of Conduct;

Duties and Responsibilities: (Include but not limited to):
" Utilizes specialized knowledge and skills in the area of clinical specialty to assess and treat clients, and acts as a resource to other Speech Language Pathologists within and outside the organization;
" Participates in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures and in the formulation and control of the service budget and expenditures;
" Provides consultation to other health professionals and community agencies. Participates in facility developmental activities and committees related to the area of specialty;
" Development of quality initiatives program.

Salary:
" CG-41 of the NAPE-HP salary scales, $36.32 to $42.83 per hour plus the applicable Labrador Allowance

Hours of Work:
Hours of work will follow the flexible work schedule in accordance with Article 19.01(a)of the NAPE-HP Collective Agreement, based on 75 hours bi-weekly (by mutual agreement). Variable shifts may apply.
