The Insurance Representative/Investment Funds Advisor (IR/IA) provides trusted financial advice to clients and their families. As a trusted Advisor to our client community, you will provide expert counsel covering cash management, finances, investments, insurance, education, retirement, estate planning and taxes. The IR/IA analyzes clients' financial records, sets goals and develops a financial strategy in collaboration with the individual client and their families. The IR/IA helps clients to achieve their financial goals by recommending investment, insurance and financial strategies in line with their needs and risk tolerances.
As a long-term relationship builder, you will provide proactive and professional support to help our clients build a financially secure future while making informed and prudent choices about their current needs.
The IR/IA will provide onsite and remote service to clients and prospective clients and is therefore comfortable in working independently and leveraging technology and traditional working processes to suit the needs of each client and to create sustainable growth of their book of business.
- Analyze clients' financial records, set goals and develop a financial strategy.
- Provide information concerning insurance plans, benefits and other policy features.
- Complete Insurance Needs Analysis
- Conduct individual and group presentations.
- Make investment recommendations to clients.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards of practice.
Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field,
3-5 years of experience in financial services
License for the sale of life insurance
License for the sale of mutual funds
Certified Financial Planner (CFP), an asset
Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), an asset
