Partner with the Leadership Team to define and develop portfolios and product opportunities to drive growth.

Reporting to the Director of Portfolio & Product, you will be leading our portfolio assessment across all lines of business and monitor initiatives that drive portfolio direction. This role will have a small team to deliver results through partnering with Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, and Sales teams to continuously improve products.


Assessing portfolio performance across all products within Personal and Commercial Insurance to identify, prioritize and monitor strategic actions implemented to grow or remedy areas of the business
Collaborating with key stakeholders to assess and respond quickly to changing market conditions
Utilizing data to guide recommendations to drive segmentation, product development and innovation across our portfolio
Supporting the development and implementation of underwriting
Reviewing portfolio performance to provide recommendations to monitor and analyze rate activity
Ensuring timely and effective execution of action plans related to underwriting performance, rate adequacy and risk control
Cultivating relationships with key insurance partners and delegated authorities to develop and enhance proprietary products and services
Identifying and acting upon new business partnership and marketing opportunities
Fostering mutually beneficial business relationships with our branch distribution network

Completion or combination of CIP, FCIP, or CRM
5+ years within an insurance role working with portfolio management
Excellent organizational, time management and project management discipline
Involvement in industry related associations and your community
Consistently implemented communication strategies to motivate and lead others

Hours: Full-Time - 37.5

Location: Victoria, BC - Remote options available

Travel Required: Various, up to 20%
