Job Description:
Senior Automation/DevOps specialist with deep Ansible knowledge and experience developing scripts, and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy infrastructure and software releases to various platforms at the enterprise level.

Successful candidate will:
Create automation solutions for various technologies such as Linux, Windows, Storage, Database, Cloud, Middleware and Networks

Develop and deploy Ansible playbooks using Jenkins and Ansible Tower

Manage and maintain Enterprise GIT, JIRA and Confluence sites

Be confident consulting and providing thought leadership on DevOps and automation best practices to CIO and VP level clients

Work in an agile environment with 2-week delivery sprints

Lead, manage and mentor a global automation team

Prepare technical design documents for automation solutions and tools

Train users on the adoption of new automation solutions

Possess strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively as a part of a team

Candidate must have:
Expert level proficiency in Linux Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting

Extensive experience developing, managing and deploying Ansible scripts and playbooks

Deep knowledge of Ansible best practices – modules, configuration, inventory and security management

Extensive experience working with enterprise Jenkins, Ansible Tower, GIT, JIRA, Confluence and CI/CD tools

Extensive knowledge and experience with REST API; automation of inventory and database updates for business intelligence reporting

Strong experience with infrastructure and application automation security implementation using SSO, SAML, IDM, OAUTH and CyberArk

Strong experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Database administration and scripting

Strong experience with deployment of public and private cloud infrastructure

Strong experience with automation of bare metal infrastructure

Excellent knowledge of Linux, Windows and Solaris operating systems

Excellent knowledge of storage systems

Excellent knowledge of network protocols, devices and tools

Good knowledge of containers, Docker and Kubernetes
