Dencan Restaurants is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to help us build our brand and grow our business. You'll work across all levels and departments of our organization to find what makes us unique and communicate it to the world.

In this role, you'll need to align the company around the brand's direction, choices and tactics, to shape and communicate our vision and mission. Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights and translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market marketing and advertising strategies that will motivate the target audience to "take action".

Duties and Responsibilities

Create and maintain a national marketing calendar with major and minor promotions
Evaluate marketing opportunities to grow business on brand / national / store-based levels and create opportunities for community investment
Work with DOOs, Regionals and GMs to determine the specific needs of stores to meet their needs, including marketing, advertising, promotions, strategic partnerships, hiring needs, etc.
Execute each campaign including media planning and buying, creative development, production quoting, content management, scheduling, etc.
Build online ordering sales and 3rd party delivery sales. Work with Skip creative team to come up with marketing campaigns
Create campaigns and maintain content for the MyDenny's loyalty program
Social media content generation for all brands
Design in store POP Materials and replenish at the stores' request
Provide collateral for new restaurant openings and renovations
Source and supply swag, signage, and materials as required
Review sponsorship opportunities and donation requests and determine strategic value
Negotiate contracts and execute elements - creative, messaging, information, swag, gift cards, etc.
Requirements

Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
Outstanding communication skills
Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
Degree in marketing or a related field
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Excellent presentation, writing, and marketing collateral development skills
Good sense of humor
