The Role - 6391 - Site Supervisor - Open Cut (Detour Gold, ON)
The objectives of this position is to manage on site Orica teams, plant and ancillary equipment in accordance with the service level agreement, corporate and regulatory standards. The incumbent will be responsible for the implementation of the Orica Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES) requirements, as well as complete adoption of Quality programs. This person will need to align with Safety, Health, Environment and Community Standard while sensuring the site’s safety management systems are reviewed annually.

Schedule:
14 days in/14 days out – Camp environment
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience in management position with operations, and employee/customer.
Ability to analyse/impact financial data utilizing SAP, and Resource Modelling.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and the Internet.
Organization, attentive to detail, time management and quality control.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Knowledge of Federal, Provincial and other applicable regulations.
Mechanical comprehension of operation/maintenance of equipment.
Responsibility for Orica equipment and vehicles.
Dangerous goods experience
Heavy industry preferably mining experience
Clearance Authority – permit to work knowledge
Valid driver’s license
Supervisor Common Core
Security Clearance or equivalent for access to security sensitive products
