CDIT is looking for a part-time Bookkeeper/Administrator responsible for both the daily accounting associated with the business as well as general administrative duties. The successful applicant must be a highly motivated and organized multi-tasker, and be able to manage a wide variety of duties such as full cycle bookkeeping; banking & reconciliation; general office administration; support contract management; developing quotes; customer & supplier liaison.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

Accounting:

  • Accurately perform all bookkeeping functions
  • Prepare Supplier Purchase Orders, Customer Invoicing
  • Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
  • HR/Payroll, Petty Cash, Expenses
  • Bank reconciliation, deposits, petty cash
  • Weekly reporting of all outstanding invoices (project, CSP, maintenance, etc.)
  • Close off year-end and make adjusting journal entries
  • Prepare T4’s
  • Liaise with company's accountants at year-end

Office Administration

  • Track and manage ordering and negotiate with suppliers as required
  • Prepare Customer Quotations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of office
  • Collaborate with Landlord and maintenance staff to ensure office is well maintained

Employee Administration

  • Manage new hire setup, termination processing, WSIB
  • Manage employee timesheets and reporting, expenses, etc.

Contract Administration

  • Maintenance/support/warranty program and renewal management
  • Manage support contracts in CRM

We are seeking a friendly, positive and flexible individual, with excellent organizational skills, and a professional attitude who is proactive and self-motivated, and will maintain confidentiality.

Candidate must have an accounting background using Simply Accounting, experience in an administrative setting with demonstrated computer/excel/email skills.

Requirements:

  • minimum 3 years experience as an Office Administrator, Office Manager and/or Bookkeeper within a small office environment
  • post secondary education
  • proficiency with Simply Accounting
  • Strong MS Office, MS Outlook computer skills
  • Exceptional customer service ability
  • Strong Grammar and Writing Skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.

You will work three days a week from 9:30 am-1:30 pm.
