Our client is a non-profit that helps consumers find and recommend businesses they can trust.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, Hire, orient and train new staff for the Sales department
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Coach and Provide ongoing recognition to Retention Sales staff to exceed their goals
  • Provide daily and ongoing sales coaching, motivation and mentorship
  • Conduct monthly sales reviews and action plans with sales representatives
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationship between Sales Department and other supporting departments
  • Craft Annual Sales Budgets for approval by the President
  • Accurately monitor, report and forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales and financial targets
  • Ensure inbound leads are tracked and distributed in a timely manner and ensure sales pipelines are maintained by sales staff through development of the team’s prospecting skills and ability
  • Analyze business category sales growth potential and implement sales strategies to maximize growth potential

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business development, management or related discipline
  • At least 5 years personal sales experience – experience selling an intangible product is an asset
  • At least 3+ years managing and inside sales department
  • Experienced in performance management activities
  • Proven success in business development (Client base growth, targeted industry growth)
  • Past Business Relations Experience (Client relations and retention)
  • Management/leadership training and/or experience
