Position Responsibilities
Operational Readiness
  • Completion of training assessments, impact analysis, developing training strategies and designing/implementing training plans
  • Oversees design and simultaneous implementation of training plans
  • Partner with internal stakeholders ensure training addresses needs, aligns with schedules/deliverables and are delivered effectively
  • Oversight on projects supporting transformational initiatives to the development and execution of training assessments, content creation, documentation and delivery
  • Develop sound and practical recommendations based on impact analysis and present recommendations to stakeholders
  • Analyse training needs and identify most effective approach
  • Identify and utilize metrics to inform the design and ongoing measurement of training success and any other associated project activities
Facilitation
  • Deliver effective business process training and/or coaching as appropriate
Support/Coaching
  • Conduct post-training follow up with end users and their managers to ensure understanding
  • Work closely with business process owners and IT to ensure consistent and accurate understanding of functionality and business processes
Compliance/Risk Management
  • Ensure that training delivery complies with industry standards and regulations including Home Trust HR related policies
Formal Education
Post secondary degree or diploma required (University degree preferred)
Certification(s)/Designation(s) preferred
Related Experience
  • 4-6 years experience in developing learning and courses/programs
  • Experience with instructional design and adult learning theory
  • Familiar with blending learning solutions (e-learning tools, on-line learning, web-based learning)
  • Industry knowledge is an asset
