We run a very successful Audio Visual & Structured Cable Design and Installation business in the GTA, and we are in need of an experienced Inventory Specialist. This individual will help us with cost-control procedures as well as manage inventory levels, implement a min/max system, track fleet stock and prevent loss. The successful candidate will be familiar with the Audio Visual & Structured Cable industries and will have exceptional math and observational skills. We are looking for a polished professional who takes his or her work seriously and values meticulous accuracy in every endeavor.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum High school diploma/GED required
Preferred Education course(s) in Inventory control or management
INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST RESPONIBILITIES
- Conduct cycle count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution
- Schedule categories for cycle count inventory and maintain strict records
- Oversee and evaluate stock procedures
- Maintain adequate storage for warehouse and on-site inventory
- Maintain and evaluate inventory records on a monthly basis
- Create procedures to eliminate loss and hold staff accountable for material In/outs.
- Ensure an efficient utilization of space plan
EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years’ experience in inventory control or related field
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Excellent math and accounting skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
